Kitchen Cabinents and Bathtub/Shower Tile

The builder had informed us that the long-awaited kitchen cabinet delivery would be yesterday, and they would be installed today.  We left work mid-afternoon to be sure of getting there before dark.  We made good time (no backup at the Severn River bridge!).

The cabinets have indeed been installed!  It’s so great to have the kitchen actually start to LOOK like a kitchen!  We can really get a feel now for how the layout (the triangle of cooktop, refrigerator and sink) will work.

The tile around the master bathroom tub and shower were also completed, and look terrific!

This evening was also the Christmas season preview at Homestead Gardens, so after we left the site, we headed back to Annapolis for a quick dinner, and then to Homestead.  They had the usual train layout, Department 56 villages and (of course) more ornaments than anyone can imagine, and also a live music combo.  A great way to start the holidays, if a bit early.
